dragspecialties.com | #SINCE1968 design and bring a bike together,” he says. The first change was lowering the bags on the bike. Not much, just an inch or two, but this made a big difference. “It was a real nice result. It gave the bike a more high-performance look. Then we added Russ Wernimont Long Shot rear fender, a LePera Kickflip seat and a Legends Suspensions Air-A rear suspension kit to complete the change. I am really happy with the result,” Ness says. The bike features a number of Ness parts: the engine and transmission covers, the air cleaner assembly, the mirrors and footpegs. All these parts feature the new Titanium finish. They are complemented with additional quality items sourced from the Drag Specialties FatBook. Among the choices Ness decided on are an all- new design Vance & Hines stainless-steel high output exhaust system, Vance & Hines Fuelpak, Legends Suspensions AEXO43 front fork kit and a Custom Dynamics ProBeam LED headlamp add to the bike’s impressive looks and performance. Another key change was the wheels. Ness installed a set of their new Y-Spoke Titanium-finish wheels. “These are the newest, lightest wheels in the lineup,” Cory says. “The Titanium finish on the billet is a really clean, fresh look.” The wheels are wrapped with Metzeler Cruisetec tires. Arlen Ness brake calipers rotors complete the custom wheel setup. Ness said the paint scheme is clean and classy. “It has blue, which calls out to Drag Specialties,” Cory says. “And additional colors that tie in to the titanium finishes on our parts. It really stands out; it will grab your attention when you walk by. I am really happy with how the final build and paint came together.”
